I wonder if it is possible to charge them as adults. If they are doing this kind of stuff that early in life then they are going to have even more problems when they get older.

The father of the boy is probably right; they didn't actually rape her. I just can't imagine a couple of kids doing that to a girl.

I don't know why you'd say that. It's saying you're alone because you're better than them all, that you're some more sophisticated being, or at least something with better morals or intelligence or something, and so you say you don't want to be a part of humanity. If you tried to leave, I'd advise bringing a gun, because it might get you a little down. Humanity is wonderful. There are screwed up, disgusting, or plain stupid things all the time. But why does that mean we're all descipable? It's very easy to despise everything. But I don't know why you'd want to do that. Everyone suffers and that manifests in some people in heinous ways, sure, but still, they're human beings, everyone deserves to be happy all the same. I mean, shouldn't it horrify you more that such a thing would happen at all, that any living being can be driven to such acts? Because this is not the usual run of people. I see people talking with their friends, trying to comfort them about their lives and people working so that they can be happy and people wanting to be happy and not always getting that, and that lack of contentment, well, that's what's horrible. Humanity is beautiful, even if it does terrible things.

i disagree with the people saying that our species is so much more ambivalent than years past. We're getting worse, not better. atrocities have never been committed on a scale this widespread, and thebrutality of the human species is higher than it's ever been. more people's lives are affected by violence today than in any other time in history. it's overpopulation, plain and simple. just wait until rampant cannibalism breaks out, you ppl haven't seen nothing yet. there have always been twisted people out there, take ghengis khan for example. their has and always will be violence in humanity, its just the way our brains our hard wired. and rape is definitly nothing new and if youd read the whole artivle you would have known that theres evidence to prove it was consensual and she accused them of rape once her parents found out.

There is less war today than there was a century ago. There is more prosperity. There is more charity. Overpopulation will be dealt with, but I don't know about you, but if I'm ever in a crowded elevator, I introduce myself before I start breaking noses.

We're very strong I think. You need to accept that nothing lasts forever. No matter how strong you are, in any way, you are going to die, your creations will fade, your world will come to an end. Weakness is good for us, because it teaches us this from the start and forces us to find strength in new ways, to at least accept that we can't always effect the change in the world we want and that we can be ok with the world as it is.

That is only an appearance, but I would like to point out that people who just mutter about it and do not take action are just as filthy. You do not have to snort in order to roll in the mud with pigs.
