Apparently I go clinically insane when sleeping and start blurting out random things. I can't even remember my dreams to explain what the heck I was talking about if someone hears me. Is there any proven method to prevent sleep-talking? Besides Duck Tape, I mean.

Most people do some sleep talking. Nothing you can do except tape your mouth shut. :P

Apparently I'm rather loud. Would sleeping face down help? Or would that just suffocate me?

try earplugs. the stuff you say when you have earplugs will get very loud "to you" which will either wake you up, or make you uncomfortable which may force you to speak quieter or maybe not speak at all. Worth a try imo. Try a brand called "Hearos" it is cheap and works very well. You can find it in all walmarts

lol it's actually quite funny to listen to people that do this. I knew a girl who did this all the time, she would have full on conversations with me while she was sleeping.

I sleep yell, the other night I was screaming "IM IN THE ROOM HELP IM IN THE ROOM" then another time i had a dream that I was in a furniture store owned by Doctor Phil and it was filled with dressers. so doctor phil was going to kill me so i saw a window above a dresser so i climbed on the dresser to escape threw the window. at this point i was climbing on the blinds on the window. i fell of the blinds ripping them and cutting my hand. Then one time my mum was sleeping on the couch in the living room and i came out at like 1:00 am and turned on the tv,

Im the same way. When I was living at home growing up I would yell all sorts of things.

Every time I would ask my sister or parents what I was saying they'd be like "uuuuuhhhhhhhhh, I...I, uh, dont remember. But man, you were looooud!"

So i assume it was either bad or embaressing. Given my sense of humor it must have been awful stuff. Or maybe it was homoerotic for some reason, and thats why they think im gay Yelling "I want to bone Brad Pitt" in my sleep would likely do that not that I did that, but I might have

I've never met someone who sleep-talks IRL. On the other hand, I'm a very quiet sleeper.

lol, duct tape? :P

TC, are you a fearful kind of person?

You could see a psychiatrist and see if they can prescribe something that might help remedy the situation.

I like this idea, try this out, if not borrow a ball gag from a friend.

i mess with my chick when she talks in her sleep by answering back to her.. it makes her talk more... we end up having conversations which are complete nonsense..
