Sean Connery Bond at least is better than Bourne. Bourne is a lot better though than Craig Bond, and I'd say better too than Brosnan Bond (although the characters are really different). Moore Bond I'm undecided on.

I prefer both classic and current Bond to Bourne, though I still enjoy the Bourne movies. Also after reading this thread, I didn't realize most people didn't like the new Bond. I actually enjoy the new Bond a lot. He's actually got depth, and I like the realistic and dark approach for him.

Obviously J.B. is better. Anyone who says otherwise is wrong! Joking aside I have to go with Bond because he's a classic. I do like how the Jason Bourne movies inspired a change in the portrayal of Bond of a colder, more bad ass Bond which I hear is closer to the actual Ian Fleming novels. Jason is straight to the point which is what the new Bond is about.

Sean Connery Bond above everything, but I enjoy the Bourne movies. I hope Jeremy Renner can keep the series going. I've also enjoyed Daniel Craig, but he has way too much serious face and not enough charm.
Bourne is just a cheap rip off of James Bond tryin to copy the style. Theres no comparison if you ask me.

Hell it wasn't even faithful back then.

Daniel Craig's version is the closest, though. And Casino Royale is arguably one of the best films in the franchise.

If he wasn't too old, I'd love to see Michael Fassbender be a witty new Bond but mixed in with the style of Casino Royale. Idris Elba would work too. The Bond movies tend to write Bond with current culture in mind. Which is why they made Bond more Bourne like with Daniel Craig. I know Roger Moore gets blasted in these threads but the movies were all over the place chasing current trends. Which didn't give him much to work with.
