January...

Now that the rush of the holidays have settled what does January mean to you? It's rather cold.....lots of snow but at least the eleviates the overall gray look of the month what with the gray sky, and lackluster vegetation. The early sunset that plunges the world into dark.

I hibernate and stay in as much as possible. Or maybe I just hibernate because I was born on Groundhog's Day and groundhogs well...hibernate.

Anyway....what gets you through the winter months until the promise of spring comes to fruition?

I usually just chill with friends, which entails playing video games, drinking, going to the movies, watching T.V., ect.

Now that I think about it, that's what I do every season, not just winter :P

Try starting a nice fire in your fireplace. Skiing? Ice hockey time. Jan and Feb do tend to drag. Probably the grey skies and slick roads.

Hugs from the female variety. A have a few friends that just randomly give out hugs.ff7fan2

nothing specialy going on for me in January.. wishing the snow would go away.. It makes a mess of everything.. especialy when they' start pouring dirt and salt over the roads to deal with the ice... gets real messy.

probably just work out, read, that kind of stuff. Besides walking to the gym which is 2 blocks away.. no real reason to go any where for me.

January is usually pretty lame. Not much to look foreword to except Q1 release games.

Well, I don't yet have any deadly diseases, and accidents are hard to come by.

Suicide also isn't much of an option, since I'm too much of a procrastinator. At most, I just end up putting it off and saying "I'll do it later."

So what gets me though the winter months? Probably the fact that I haven't died yet.

I hate spring and the hot wheather that follows.
