Im currently living in tokyo and I can tell you its not even raining atm... Don't think we need to worry about a typhoon
Protip: If you're going to make a news thread, let us know about, well...the news.
Two ways of doing this is to actually go into detail about what is going on, and/or most preferably post a link.
[QUOTE="thatninja18"]Yeah but it's Japan. That's like business as usual for them. Which from my understanding of Japan is still pretty strange by North American standards.another 7.0 earthquake by what i saw on cnn

Serious truth,
It took a day for sink in how bad the earthquake disaster was, because when I watched early reports (on OT) I was like ahh another quake.
Then when it it the the major news stations :|

I stayed up late watching Al Jezera report it as it happened. They interviewed an English teacher who said that in all their years of teaching there they had never seen their students actually react to an earthquake. Instantly gave me huge respect for the infrastructure there and let me know that things were going to be FUBAR.I remember watching the news everyday about the nuclear power plants and stuff. I was so worried and then all of a sudden...boof... I forgot all about it.
Japan has always had earthquakes, it's nothing new.another 7.0 earthquake by what i saw on cnn
