Yu-Gi-Oh! is my favourite.

I agree with you on Bleach and Code Gaess.

If those are the best you've seen, you need to start watching more.

Start with Neon Genesis Evangelion, Cowboy Bebop and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex.

P.S. South Park's two anime spoofing episodes were affectionate parodies, Trey Parker and Matt Stone are huge anime fans, so you clearly took the wrong impression from that entirely.

I don't think two anime being made fun of by two shows that typically make huge generalizations is enough to speak for all of the different anime out there. musicaz70

What I find funny is the fact that alot of people within the western "anime fanbase" are just as clueless about what's out there as the self-proclaimed "anime haters." (See TC's post. No offense to him.)

I watch a very wide range of anime genres, and shows like Naruto/DBZ are just about as terrible as it gets in my opinion.

Eden of the East is really great... DL'ing this weeks new episode right now! musicaz70

I'll throw up another recommendation for Eden of The East. Six episodes in and it's quite interesting thus far.

Edit: Whoops, make that 5 episodes in. 6 is next week.

I guess it depends on opinion, I don't watch that much of any cartoons - but I for one don't think someone should limit themselves to media of their own country/race, that's just stupid. I'm not oriental, nor am I white but that isn't stopping me from watching J-Dramas, K-Dramas or American TV shows.

My favorite anime are Naruto and Dragonball Z.

They are TV shows. People make life out of them. I don't understand.

I like Rocko's Modern Life and Ahhh! Real Monsters.

And I guess Yu Yu Hakusho is pretty awesome as well.

Ninja Scroll is an old classic that never dissapoints.

Gundam Seed is a real kick ass mecha series worth watching!
