i play in a band and normally we play metal but we want to play jazz and blues so

does any one know of any good jazz or blues bands

something with interesting bass,guitar,drums we dont have a trumpeteer or any thing like that

Not really. Metal is based off of blues scales. As for blues bands/artists, well there are many to choose from. Kenny Wayne Shephard Band, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble, Hendrix, B.B King, Chuck Berry, Muddy Waters...well you get the idea. If you want to learn the blues, buy some books on it. I love playing the blues, but there is a lot to learn.
