It's ever so easy to say "you should be satisfied with what you have" in a position like yours.
It sounds more like you just think you're better than everyone else, and that's more narcissistic. I don't get jealous because I'm just too apathetic to get jealous.
I am very similar to what you have described. I tend to rationalize emotions more than feeling them. Hence, jealousy is also something I do not get wrapped up in. Also, I am pretty sure there is a reason why.

It's an emotion, not a sin. People don't go around saying "Oh I hope I'm jealous today!" Jealousy can drive people to accomplish things. I don't encourage or react to feelings of jealousy but they're still present just like in dogs, cats, and monkeys. We're mammals too. We can feel something and not react to it unlike those listed but that doesn't mean it was never felt to begin with.
Good for you I suppose. I usually get called a ****head or have the piss taken whenever something fortunate happens to me. I suppose that's more of a cultural expectancy or something though.
I don't think jealousy is the reason they treat you like crap.

Its the feeling that drives you to get something you dont have because somone else has. Envy probally is what made you get your car because other people and you thought screw the bus.

The only time I've even felt slightly jealous was when it came to a girl. Turns out I was kinda justified in feeling that way but still, it's not a good emotion. I used to think that a little jealousy was kinda good since it shows how much you care about someone or something. But now I've realized how absolutely useless it is and there is nothing good about it.
