I was wondering if there are better sites out there than gamespot.com for videogames?
I know there are, I've just been to lazy to look for it.

you're too lazy to look, but you post a thread asking. All you had to do was google "videogames", which would have taken a fraction of the time.

I'll let these fine refugees speak for themselves: The GameSpot welcome thread on Gamer 2.0
Ign and Gametrailers. But unfortunately there is no message board as epic as gamespot's OT... as far as i know.best-gam3r
IGN is just as bad, they give out 9 and 10's to easily. But I've seen a couple of revies for gametrailers, and their reviews are EXCELLENT, but unfortuanatley almost all sites (not just games) are vastly inferior to GS's.

I think I remember that site because it gave a higher value score to Bioschock than Halo3 (lol).you're too lazy to look, but you post a thread asking. All you had to do was google "videogames", which would have taken a fraction of the time.

I did that, what came up was videogames.yahoo.com
Ign.com

I will give props to GameTrailers even though they're technically a competitor, but not really since we do have a partnership to feature their entire video library on our site (they will be embedded soon on our pages as well). GameTrailers does have really good video reviews that are pretty reliable.
Yahtzee's reviews are the best:

there you go then. You answered you're own question. Both are good alternatives to GS.
Gametrailers deffinetly do some good reviews - even the video reviews are long HD and surpisingly free in this time and age ( can you imagin that CNET free HD... OMG eh!!! ) that is where I'll go from now on ( and have a for a few month before this stuff even happened )
Eurogames also do a great job and have a lot of personality.. but European humor may not be for all... :)
