Jennifer Aniston - Good actress or just a good role picker?

Her movies have made a respectable amount of coin, but she is the same person in all of them. It seems she is a master at picking those roles in movies that will make money in spite of her rather than because of her. "Just Go With It" with money magnet Adam Sandler is a prime example and she did it with "The Bounty Hunter" when Gerard Butler was hot for a minute. It's a perfect way for her to look like a consistent draw despite the constant bagging on her lack of ability. I think she learned the subtle art from Jeff Goldblum, who managed to be in some of the biggest hits of the 90s despite playing the same annoying guy.

I would say neither.

Maybe I am just severely out of the loop, but I haven't seen her in any recent movies, and I haven't even heard of the two you listed. The only thing I know her from is Friends. I'm sure I've seen her in other movies, but she must not have been very memorable, as I don't remember her.

Good actress? All she does is play Rachel from Friends in pretty much all her movies, with the exception of Derailed.

She had a great role and acting in "he is just not that into you" .... may be the only decent role I saw for her ,...... most of her roles are the same, shallow .... I believe she has some great acting capabilities but she is a very bad role picker.
