Maybe because its all about disaster? Yeah maybe its .50% character developement, .50% story developement, and 99% CGI, but Im craving a good disaster movie right about now. I love movies and I am not the one to judge until I have seen the whole movie and completely have analyzed it. Heres the 5 minute preview if interested

As soon as I saw the trailer, I knew this was something direted by Roland Emmerich. This guy's movies are truckloads of fail. Emmerich tries to emmulate Michael Bay in many ways (all effects and questionable plot and writing), but he can't even get that right.

Ben Affleck was really good in State of play, Hollywoodland, and Extract. Also Cusack may play the same character most of the time, but he was good in 1408. Even if he does play similar guys I still think he and Cage are good since they were both in some really good films.

His films may mostly suck these days, but what about Raising Arizona, Mathstick men, bringing out the dead, Leaving Las Vegas, and Adaptation? He may not play very different characters all the time, but I dont think he is a terrible actor. He just picks a lot of bad roles.

I think it looks entertaining. Besides the drama that I am sure will be in it with a bad family story but hey the destruction stuff looks cool.
