John Frusciante leaves the Red Hot Chili Peppers...

For those that care the lead guitarist of the Red Hot Chili Peppers has left the band...he's one of the best guitarist out there and the Peppers best stuff was made while he was in the band but the good news is that his protege Josh Klinghoffer is taking his place since Dave Navarro confirmed that he is not returning to the band.Their first album since 2006 will probably be released in late 2010/early 2011...can't wait :D

I am a huge RHCP fan, however I did not enjoy Stadium Arcadium compared to their earlier work. I'm bittersweet about Frusciante leaving. Josh will be fine to take his place, i'm just sad because I never got to see them in concert.

However, John needs to do more solo work, so leaving the band will let him accomplish that. I'm excited to see what he puts out. The Empyrean was wonderful.

Johns pretty well known for his songwriting and lots of guitarits try to imitate his style. I bet some could pull it off, but John probably deserves more props than you give him.alphamale1989

John does deserve more credit than he receives. And complexity has nothing to do with how good a band is. The White Strips are incredibly simple, and one of the best bands of the decade.
