What is wrong with him being old?monkey_monger
Check that site, he's older than spam! HE'S OLDER THAN THE FIRST SHOPPING CART!! ZOMG!!1!
What's wrong with being old? People in his family have lived 90+ so more than likely he won't just drop dead first day in office.Cube_of_MooN
It's actually a very highly demanding job. Most presidents don't live long after their terms... even those in good health. Also there's the whole thing about Reagan being senile towards the end of his term.

Is that so? How about we examine the last 40 years of office, to see if that statement still holds true:
Richard Nixon - resigned from office in 1974 and did not die until 1994 at the age of 81 (difference of 20 years)
Gerald Ford - left office in 1977 and only recently died in 2006 at the age of 93 (difference of 19 years)
Jimmy Carter - left office in 1981 and still currently alive as of this moment in 2008, at the age of 83 (difference of 27 years)
Ronald Regan - left office in 1989 and died in 2004 at age of 93 (difference of 15 years)
George H.W. Bush - left office in 1993 and still currently alive as of this moment in 2008, at the age of 83 (difference of 15 years)
So, with all of that being put into account, so far, in the last 40 years, all of our former presidents have been able to live long after their term(s) expired, on the average of 15 between 20 years. Therefore, while your statement may have held more solidarity in the years of JBJ and before, it does not hold true in the years of the Nixon Administration and beyond, which, as I said, is time-span 40 years.
In regards to Ronald Regan, and question on whether or not his Alzheimer's disease begin while being in office, it just is exactly that, a question, not something that should be stated as facts, until shown to be otherwise.

This is the best argument that a typical American can use when choosing to not vote for a candidate, instead of raising real questions about McCain's electibility they choose to make stupid discussions and thus help other Americans become more ignorant.
