I don't really care for either, but I would pick Jon Stewart if I was forced to choose. I also like everyone who enjoys him, can't even spell his name correctly.
Colbert by a little bit because I love his interviews. He acts so ignorant of what he's talking about, asks questions, and then when the person he's interviewing starts giving some wrong answers, he corrects them and takes over with some jokes.
I don't really know Stewart but ever since I've seen that tube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DJvY_RftA4I) of Colbert on the O'Reilly factor, I knew I liked him! :P I can't stand Bill O'Reilly! I really like Colbert's humour though so......Colbert for me.
Colbert because his style is so much more subtle....political comedy to me is much more effective and funny when it's subtle than when it's thrown in your face which is more of Jon Stewart's style.
They are pretty much equal in my eyes. However on some days Colbert is better and on others Stewart is better. When both are together though that is when things get really funny. I love the last part of the daily show just before the Colbery Rapport comes on where both Colbert and Stewart have a little chat. They are always awesome.
While both shows are excellent, I have to go with COLBERT hands down. The Word. Threat Down. Tip of the Hat Wag of the Finger. Plus, he got that representative from florida to say "I like crack cocaine because its a fun thing to do.":lol:
Colbert. He's funnier, which is what a comedian is suppose to be: funny. John tries too hard to actually report the news and be an anchorman. Colbert is able to bring the giggles and the news at the same time.
And Colbert is just plain funnier (not trying to bash John though, he has his moments).
