xconbud
oh man i nearly ****** myself laughing at that
Didn't colbert mess with Beck too??XD4NTESINF3RNOXProbably so, everything Stewart does seems to end up in Colbert's show. So if you ever miss The Daily Show just tune into the Colbert Report.
A friend of mine in Atlanta who was a freelance writer for Rolling Stone said that her first thought on hearing that a blonde male had been found dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound in Kurt Cobain's house was "Please, let it be Beck"I love Beck! In fact, I'm listening to Odelay on my player right now.

Caught it this morning. Hilarious. Libertarians are lying aryans who worship Bert from Seasame street!
[QUOTE="hamstergeddon"]God Glenn Beck is such a moron. Why is he still allowed him to broadcast his hate messages???? fidosimBecause this is a free country? Freedom of speech only applies insofar as the thing you are saying has some grounds in truth (hence laws against libel, slander, defamation etc.) Some of the things Glenn Beck says are so far removed from reality, there's really no constitutional protection for someone who's said the things he has said. And to answer my own question, I think the reason the Presidency hasn't acknowledged Glenn Beck (Or for that matter any of the other talkshow extremists) is that doing so would give that talkshow legitimacy, and a "martyr" for the Conservative masses to rally around

I don't think he's ever said anything outright slanderous enough to get sued for.
7 minutes of those 15 minutes were just John making stupid mannerisms and staring into the camera.cpo335It's satire, exaggerating Beck's mannerisms.
Like when he mocked Olbermann and kept switching glasses.
JS is a massive joke who makes his money off of mocking others. Normally I wouldnt care, but when others try to pass this raving loon off as a legit news man..Well then it shows its time he got the boot. Nothing this man (and use that word loosely) should be taken seriously. I am no fan of Glen Beck, but JS is cut from the same cloth only on the left side of it.MoonMarvel

Progressivism - Progressivism is often viewed in opposition to conservative or reactionary ideologies. In the United States, the term progressivism emerged in the late 19th century into the 20th century in reference to a more general response to the vast changes brought by industrialization: an alternative to both the traditional conservative response to social and economic issues and to the various more radical streams of socialism and anarchism which opposed them. Today, most progressive politicians in the United States associate with the Democratic Party or the Green Party US. The term "progressive" is today often used in place of "liberal". American progressives tend to support interventionist economics: they advocate progressive taxation and oppose the growing influence of corporations. Progressives are in agreement on an international scale with left-liberalism in that they support organized labor and trade unions, they usually wish to introduce a living wage, and they often support the creation of a universal health care system.
