I don't understand their fame, they are horrible! Every 10 year old girl and even normal people go crazy over them. And to think they have gone platinum...

I agree. It's not like they're the first boy band ever-- the same thing happened in different eras. They're this generation's Hanson or Backstreet boys.

We get it all ready. If you don't like them, ignore them and stoplurkingat their attention so you have a reason to hate them. To be honest, you are gaining nothing hating, and they are gaining money doing what you just bashed

I can see massive potential for that Nick kid though, he plays 2 (at least) instruments and his vocals are not bad (perhaps you don't like the lyrics, but the voice has potential written all over it).

Meh, I'm not a fan but I don't let their popularity get to me. I doubt that your apart of their intended audience anyways. Their fans will probably grow out of them. Besides.....everyone knows that Brokencyde is the worst band evar :evil:

You answered your own question.

As for the other question, music and what is considered good or popular constasntly changes. Either adapt, stop listening to new stuff, or start digging for underground or less famous artists/groups.

Personally I dislike the Jonas Brothers but I have to give them props for giving one of my favorite girl groups (Wonder Girls) a popularity boost here in America.
