How was yours? Today I went to my first and sat for about 5hrs to be told I wasnt needed, come back in the next 8yrs :| . Anyone else can share their experiences and which type of case you had to face.

If you want to get out of jury duty just make sure everybody in the court knows your a rascist, sexist ignorant *** hole and proud.

I was on a jury for a contested drunk driving case. It was a peculiar case in that the accused wasn't actually driving his car at the time of arrest. He was parked on the side of the road with the engine running.

i've been summoned like 4 times (in 3 different counties) and have never had to report to the court, much less serve on a jury.

i only done it once i hated doing it but i got paid for being there so i did it so i could get paid

Meh, I was leavening the country when I got my first call for jury duty,so I got out of it. Were it not for that I'd just start spouting random sexist/raciest nonsense.
