Yes, it's truely a masterpiece =]

I'm really excited for the movie, it looks like it will do the book justice... Just afraid that it's going to become a really really popular thing with society, and it's gonna be one of those things where it's SO popular people don't even know it was a graphic novel first....

Um, it's a comic book. And obviously the movie won't even compare to the greatness of the comic book, as good as it seems to be.

No not always, Clockwork Orange was an awesome adaptation of the movie, for example.

A Clockwork Orange is a masterpiece, both as a movie and a book.

A Clockwork Orange (the film) is an adaptation of the novel by Anthony Burgess.

I'm gonna assume you mean it was an awesome adaptation of the book. :P

But really, I didn't think A Clockwork Orange was that great. :| I know I'm gonna catch some flack for that statement but hey.

I recently heard of this comic book with a recent Braid review and now I am tempted to read it. But hearing there is a movie coming out quashes my desire for the book. Alas I am a snob and an elitist. No doubt Hollywood will will do its best to project what is profitable onto the silver screen rather than what is authentic.

Just to get something straight: This is not a straight-forward novel, it is a graphic novel, or a comic book. It sure is lengthy, but to all those people who refuse to read a book this is a good start.

The movie. And I dunno, it was just a little too bizarre for me (which I guess was the point) but a lot of the scenes felt forced... like it was trying too hard to be unique.

Hell yeah, once I got to Chapter IV I couldn't get off the book, I wanted to find out what happened next and so on. Unfortunately I went on wiki and found out the ending =[ (No spoilers) But I can't wait for the movie to come out, I think it'll be good.

i will not be at all pleased when i walk into hot topic in a few months only to find watchmen shirts pins books and other stupid crap that those stupid bastards are gonna eat up cause they are sheeple. i know it sounds cliched but im 16 and nothing like those damn kids. so much so that i have broken off friendships with other people and vowed to stay alone rather than mingle with these poor excuses of human beings. rant over but before i leave, RRRAAAAGGGGEEEE

I have confidence that Zach Snyder will bring justice to the book on the big screen...better than I even think Terry Gilliam or Darren Aronofsky could have (they probably would have turned it into a different movie).

yeah I read it too when I saw the trailer and loved it

the only problem is that I don't think the movie industry can pull it off, they are going to make it an action film flick instead of the heavily character developed story its famous for. blleeh, maybe they will though

Yeah I have been meaning to pick this book up, I'm just caught up with summer reading >___>
But anyways, I've seen the preview multiple times for the movie and it looks awesome. Plus, my friend told me all about the comic and how awesome it is. I really do want to read it, definitely before I see the movie:D.
