Just saw Full Metal Jacket

Brilliant

Excellent display of the dichotomies of war and the nature of man (life being a contradictory in itself), how strange that violence and innocence can coexist (M-I-C-K-E-Y...) and the loss of innocence.

Not to mention this movie had more memorable quotes in the first 6 minutes than any movie I've seen had in it's entirety. First half of the movie was absolutely hysterical. God love Sgt Hartman, what a guy

Never too late, imo. If it's a classic, it endures the test of time and mutliple generations can enjoy it regardless.
