Just Saw Max Payne

I Thought it was a very solid movie. I would have to say its an 8/10. Not enough action really, but when there was action, it was good. Awsome scenery(love the snow) and very enjoyable if you liked the game.

Got back from seeing it a little bit ago...

It was just awful. Very long and it felt like it would just never end. Lots of ridiculous and laughable scenes (I'll go into it if you don't mind spoilers) Plus the whole visual style was entirely ripped off of Sin City and Constantine. If you want a movie that's easy to mock and poke holes in, go see Max Payne. That is, if you don't mind sitting through what feels like an entire week of bad film.

I couldn't help but laugh when a guy who works at a tattoo shop starts giving a history lesson about vikings and whatnot. He even pulled out a dusty old book with some pictures to help show what he was talking about. And the fact that there would be tons of C4 in an office building. And the fact that after the C4 had all been planted (in the same place) the chick, who snuck in with a silenced pistol, starts firing a machine gun straight at it.

All the snow and rain and muted colors are taken directly from what Sin City created. And the huge, slow moving things with wings? That's not new either. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W9PKmPGOnBQ

Its worth seeing. Especially if you are a fan of the series. C-Lee

This is all I wanted to hear. :) I'm gonna go see it tomorrow, on my B-Day. :D

I've heard that it's as bad as Hitman, and it doesn't even have female nudity.

I don't think so. Max hangs out with Mona during 2nd game. The trailer also shows the end of the first game and some parts from the 2nd. So... I think it's both. :)

if they make a second one it most likly wont have Mark Wahlberg as Max Payne because hes said on a few occasions he doesn't do sequels .

Wasn't bad. I was disappointed Vlad wasn't in it though
