.........i didnt see one zombie in the film........zombies are undead.......they had infection......if the zombie doesnt die first and come back they arent zombies......anyway......they both sucked......quarrantine a little less....because well as ive mentioned before......i hate subtitles and i hate watching stuff in foreign languages...........anyway for those who care.....there is supposed to be a Rec 2
Get ready for Quarrantine 2 ! lol
No. That would be reserved for the 28 Days/Weeks series. None traditional "zombies" that make Romero zombies look timid and safe.I agree 28 days/weeks best zombie movies of this generation.
As far as story, characters and settings go, I'd put Dead Rising up for the best traditional "zombie movie." Even though its a game, it has a better story, more likable characters and much better cinematography than any zombie movie I've ever seen.foxhound_fox

and 28 days later isnt about zombies, though they can go into the zombie genre, because they copied Romero's style lol, but since were comparing none zombie films to each other, im gonna say
Planet terror > 28 days later
Planet Terror was just a fun ride. 28 Days Later was actually a very well made horror film.and 28 days later isnt about zombies, though they can go into the zombie genre, because they copied Romero's style lol, but since were comparing none zombie films to each other, im gonna say

"But things have changed in Dead Rising 2. The zombie infestation is, seemingly, no longer an isolated incident. The plague has spread unchecked throughout the United States.
It looks like Dead Rising 2 will be taking place in a Vegas-like setting and apparently star someone seen wearing a leather racing jacket and, in one shot, riding an off-road motorcycle. Safe money is on this new character being a racer or stunt driver."
Thats not frank......frank isnt blonde, this is supposed to be several years after willamete
yea he's new, i just read a article about the dev, he said the new character will be much more interesting than frank

meh it was a love hate relationship xD sometimes i hated frank, during gameplay i'd curse him out and call em old bastid and stuff, but yea, such an underrated game, it was THE reason i bought a 360. i wont miss the camera though, you seen the trailer ? i wonder if Frank & Isabella will make an appearance on this one, i just hope this one has an even better story than the first, better characters, better psychos etc, though the first was great, now that the second one is on ps3, im debating whether to get it on 360 or PS3, i still have to re-beat it again, i reformated the harddrive T_T which sucks cause i had everythingEuroshinobi
great, except there wasnt a zombie in sight in the 28 days later movie, they had a virus, a rabbies like virus that causes you to go mad, they did not ever fall down and die at one point when they were bitten that = Not zombies
but meh ive seen a lot of new age zombie films, and to tell you the truth, they're all meh, none of them touch Romero's classic, he is the orignator and creator ! (haha little richards words), the best REAL new age zombie movie ive seen was the Remake of Romero's Dawn of the dead, and thats probably why i liked dead rising so much because it was in a mall :P

You should watch [REC]. I haven't seen either, but I've heard [REC] is one of the best horror films of the decade, while Quarantine is just another mediocre remake.sammyjenkis898It's a freakin' shot for shot remake. For some reason Hollywood thinks Spanish people are to 'foreign' for Americans. They could have at least dubbed the [REC], but then no one would be lining their wallets with $100 bills... It's sad to see that the original movie, a brilliant piece of cinema, is not aired as is to the world.
I have no interest in seeing this. I'm sorry, but all handheld automatically=bad for me. I just can't sit through something so well...trashy. Handheld has it's place in cinema, but movies that are shot entirely this way (specifically the shakey cam style)are just plain ugly.
