Earth 2100

Normally I hate shows like this they always feel to stale and "been there done that". But Earth 2100 was a great take on the "what could happen" show, I loved the side story of Lucy. I also liked how real it seemed to me I see humans as very stubborn and since climate change is happening so slowly it can be put off for now and worry about it later. Which is why we will ultimately get it in the end if we dont wake up.

I enjoyed that documentary a lot. For once, History channel gave a realistic look at a doomsday scenario.

Exactly its usually all over the top and crazy. This really made sense what made matters worse is when they gave the guys in the UN the scenario with Miami getting hit with the hurricane and India got a tsunami? No one could agree with what to do for the people due to money? saaadddd

Man I remember watching that awhile back, really interesting indeed. And nothing to far over the top it can realistically happen.

The best part, I will either be almost dead, or barely dead before 2100 comes along :)

With the advances in medical science, our age group is expected to live into our 120s...there are actually quite alot of healthy 90-100 year olds out there today. I work in a retirement home btw, so I talk to alot of 90+ senior citizens on a daily basis...

I was watching that the other night and I wasn't impressed. Most shows predicting the future (except 2052) focus on the worst case scenario, at least the ones around now do. I see how it's all a possibility but I personally think that the future will be great.
