I loved it. Felt like a new version of Commando, where the hero is in constant badass mode. Most satifying movie I've seen in a while.bigfatcrapDon't go there! Commando is on a level all its own with even the "pissant" soldiers getting in good one liners.
can someone re-explain to me the movie?
i went to watch the movie but came short and ended up in a make out session.:cry:i
wanted to watch that movie so bad!! but sadly, she was too tempting.
all i remembered was "good luck" said by some russian accent and a guy carrying the main characters bag before it ended
:(
moral of the day: never bring a girl to an action movie

BEST ADVICE EVER!!!
Why would you do something like that in the first place? :Pmoral of the day: never bring a girl to an action movie

I rather enjoyed it except for the terrible ending. My only concern over the presentation overall is that some people are going to say that it's just American propoganda painting Islamic people as immoral and criminal even though this was a French movie by a French director.IamLegend316Strangely enough, anyone who gets a "meaning" or any sort of message of "propaganda" is a moron. It was created for pure, hot action that had a guy who was a mixture of Jack Bauer and Steven Seagal. It owned and anyone who takes any message or meaning out of this needs to remember how to enjoy a movie without reading into it.

because coraline was sold out, so i sold my soul to the devil and watched an action movie with a girl.
I thought it was pretty mediocre. It isn't a bad premise, but it was badly cast. For starters, while I'm a big fan of Liam Neeson, he's just not a good fit for the role he was in. Ditto for Famke Jansen. It's a case of just throwing big names in without determining whether they are right for the part. nocoolnamejim
how is Liam Nelson not a good action actor?? hes like 6 feet tall + thats like a foot taller than tom cruise!
and his voice is oh-so manly.
how can you say he doesnt fit the role?
he sure as heck looks better then bourne, character wise, not storyline wise.
bourne is like some lost kid in a urban jungle running around wondering whose his father is.
Liam Nelson in taken, was the god damn father.
hah! take that!
Famke Janssen, who played the ex-wife, lost some of her looks since the X-Men series and looks like a totally different person since Goldeneye.IamLegend316
I'd still jump her in a heartbeat.
On-topic, I enjoyed it for what it was, but honestly forgot about it the moment I walked out of the theatre. The fight scenes were brutal though, and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the "spotter" meet his end.

No... That wouldn't be a problem, but it's not my place to tell you. To tell you would run a lot of the character development that went into the show.
