Justin Bieber wants to be the next Michael Jackson ( that funny)..

Justin Bieber's goal in life is to reach the same level of fame as his idol Michael Jackson.

The teenage pop star cites the "Thriller" hitmaker as his greatest influence, and admits he strives to emulate Jackson's success as an entertainer.

And Bieber hopes his music will eventually reach a wider audience so he can be appreciated by fans of all ages.

He tells Vanity Fair magazine, "Music is music, and I'm definitely influenced by Michael Jackson...

"Michael was able to reach audiences from young to old; he never limited himself. He was so broad, everybody loved him, and that's what my goal is - to basically make people happy, to inspire them, and to have everyone root for me."

And Bieber hopes more men will start listening to his music, adding, "For younger guys, it's like (they think) they're not cool if they come to my concert. That'll (change), I think; it'll happen, maybe when I'm 18. But meanwhile all their girlfriends are coming to watch me."

10 years ago if you told me I'd eventually kinda like Justin Timberlake I would've thought you were crazy, but he's figured out a way to turn himself into a legit artist & actor. Maybe Bieber can too.

That gave me a good laugh.

I went and decided to wath a Beiber video on Youtube the other day to see what the fuss was about. What I got was a laugh riot. I think the song was "Baby" or something, and he was chasing around a 12 year old girl while singing. It was like watching my 8 year old nephew chase around a 5 year old. Utterly laughable and ridiculous. He's a damn child.

I have nothing against the kid aside from not being able to see anything redeeming in him whatsoever, but the fact that he even thinks he can be compared to MJ just goes to show how delusional he really is and how much his fame has gone to his head. Go watch a video of Michael performing when he was....hell.....like EIGHT, and his talent was far and above back then what Beiber could even hope to acheive in his entire life.

Like him or not, MJ is a legend in the music business. Beiber will be forgotten in a few years just as all the other boy bands have been.

He can't be exactly like MJ but Justin Bieber could use MJ's music/style to influence him. Just a thought :)

Michael Jackson had talent. He could sing as well as dance. Bieber can really do neither.
