And I wouldn't say he's an idiot for not wearing a helmet. He clearly knows what he's doing. Rodney Mullen doesn't wear a helmet. :)

It actually isn't that hard if you practise. I was going to get into bmx flat land, but I stuck to mountain biking.

Agreed. Sure, it's neat, and it demonstrates a lot of skill. But many things demand skill, and calling this amongst the most difficult skill-based feats in the world is excessive.
