Hope Shamrock has enough to pull it off. If he can turn it into a ground fight he can win. Kimbo can't do anything but throw haymakers.
I dunno who'll win, but I guarantee it'd be more interesting if they were each weilding large hammers...and had an awesome battleground, with moving platforms, and maybe some dangerous animals (like a polar bear - with a gun.) I'd pay to watch that...Fortier
You'd pay to watch all of 4 seconds? Me too
Most likely Kimbo. In all honesty neither of them have much too offer as mixed martial artists. But Ken is just getting way to old. He's on a 5 loss streak. Neither of them have very good boxing, in all honesty the only thing Kimbo has is heavy hands and strength. Unfortunately that could be enough to beat and over-the-hill out-of-date Shamrock. The one place that Ken can win is one the ground. 22 of Shamrock's wins have been via submission and if Shamrock can win that's the place most likely for it to happen. Despite his training with Bas, Kimbo's ground game is still pretty damn bad.
I'm still waiting for Kimbo to face a good opponent.

Robertoey
I couldn't say it any better
I don't really know what the status is on Ken Shamrock but based on everything I've seen of Kimbo I can't imagine he could take Ken Shamrock. Maybe if Ken is really out of shape or if it sticks he chin out there and lets Kimbo hit it a few times he may go down, but Kimbo couldn't even decisively win against an opponent hand-picked to go down easy.
I would imagine that unless Kimbo gets a really, really lucky punch early due to extreme Shamrock cockiness, I would assume that Kimbo is going to gas like crazy after the first round and be pretty much open to anything that Ken wants to do to him.
What the hell, when is the fight?!?!plague32390
Saturday.
THe more and more I think about this fight, the more I feel Shamrock can't do it. He's as fragile as glass, he has crap stand-up, he's got no agility so he can barely take anyone down, and he hasn't had a sub win since beating Sam Adkins (a 7-20-2 fighter), and his last sub win before that was in 1996.
He's on a huge losing streak where he's looked really bad. He's more than washed up, the undertow's reeled him back into the sea where his career will drown. He's weak, slow, and clumsy in the octagon, and if Kimbo has any semblance of takedown defense(he might not need any due to his size and raw strength), Shamrock can't take it in the ground, and he'll lose hard.
Well, maybe not hard, seeing as Kimbo sucks and his striking is atrocious. Kimbo's only got strength and size/weight on Shamrock. It'll be a terrible fight, like the last one was, and if Kimbo is given a victory he doesn't deserve like he was last match, then it'll be even worse. I can imagine if Shamrock takes Kimbo to the ground, the ref will be quick to stand them up.
