John Kerry the Comedian

On Sunday, Kerry condemned Russian President Vladimir Putin’s “act of aggression” for his choice to invade Ukraine and warned of “very serious repercussions,” including trade sanctions.

“It’s really 19th century behavior in the 21st century,” Kerry said Sunday on NBC’s Meet the Press. He suggested Putin is “possibly trying to annex Crimeam,” saying, “You just don’t invade another country on phony pretexts in order to assert your interests.”

He's probably indicated Iraq (and possibly) Afghanistan.

I think many of people who bring this up seem to forget the Bosnian war, in which America (as well as other countries) done nothing and some of the most horrendous human acts in the late 20th century took place.

Irony at it's finest. That being said, Russia has "a couple" of severe issues.

@MlauTheDaft: The irony is simply breathtaking. My mouth actually dropped when he said it. It was one of those "oh, no he didn't" moments. I'm going to give him the benefit and assume that's he's joking.

John Kerry is a funny guy, isn't he?

Oh look, another guy claiming the United States made up Iraq's WMD program in order to go steal their oil. Meanwhile they still have all their oil and the United States is a gazillion dollars poorer and lost thousands of troops. Yea we really got a lot out of that one.

Saddam Hussein made up his own WMD program, and his own general's believed they had a nuke program. Get a new schtick. It amazes me how many tools on this forum are giving Russia a pass just to stick it to the U.S. Holy hell you could build a bridge with all the tools in this forum.

I think from now on there should be a rule.....if you are going to hate on America you need to post what country you are from.

You mean the country that had a mass murdering leader and was suspected, and probably did, have WMD's. And then that other country who's government was controlled by a terrorist organisation and in which operated another terrorist cell directly responsible for the deaths of nearly 3000 US civilians?

Originally no. The President (George Bush Sr) more or less said "I know what it going on is terrible but it's not our problem" (paraphrasing). By the time something was done, the damage was done.

Unfortunately, that's too enlightened for most people of most states. But it matters more when one's state is shit. I mean its relative to the socio, economic and political status quo of the state. For example, over the course of my life I had so much contempt and disdain for Gaza to the point where I stopped being critical of the place few years ago. I have butchered the entire place and everything associated with it to a degree where the place ceased to exist in my conscious mind. It became unworthy of the use my intellect or cognition so it had to be banished and abolished altogether.

The U.S is clearly not Gaza, but its far from being a Utopia or at least where it should be as a state given the size of its economy and the county's overall assets. This guy you quoted is one of the reason why the U.S isn't there yet. I realized from personal experience and contemplations that one of the most severely destructive agent of any organized body is the existence of uncritical members with blind allegiance to that body. Its clear and rather conspicuous indoctrination really. I'd go a step further and call it a form of self-alienation but that's a story for another time.

Yeah, the U.S. (and other western nations) really don't have any moral ground to stand on when they condemn Russia. What's good for the goose is apparently not good for the gander.

we really dont know why he killed the people he did. for all we know those people were probably criminals convicted of a crime. all we saw was there punishment. if he had WMD they would have found them. alot of time "terrorist" are just defending themselves or getting revenge on the crooked governments of the west who rape their women and kill their children. but of course our media doesnt patrey it that way.

Well Ukraine is a crap country and we should let Russia take over the whole thing as they'll do a better job of running it and I don't fancy nuclear war. If they try to take Poland shortly after then we got no choice but to blow each other up cause that's just being stupid and if that's the case there isn't any hope anyway.

Edit - No offence to Ukarine people, it's just that government always seemed half baked from what I gather.

I am part of the f'king body, I am not some lemming like you following what others tell me and only believing which parts I like. I am part of the machine that I defend, not just some idiot on a message board waving my flag while screaming " 'murica!" because I was indoctrinated. I am on the inside looking out at people like you who think they know what we are doing on the inside, the truth is you have no clue, the media has no clue, and even some of our idiot politicians have no clue. Why did Obama lighten up after becoming president? Because he got cleared to see what is REALLY going on.

This is the difference between you and me, I know facts, you lean on ideology and your hatred of this country. I can be plenty critical and reasonable and have shown as such, you simply leave no room for that because you are the type who will always take whatever my side gives you bet you will never meet halfway or acknowledge that I have criticisms of my country as well. I have criticized it in this very thread!

In the end you don't tell me how to be a fk'ing American, you don't know me, you know nothing about me. I come here for one thing, to smack down tools like you who continuously slander my country and what we do. Are we perfect? No. Are we anywhere near as bad as people on this forum make us out to be? Hell no.

And I noticed you had nothing for me at all about your stance on us going in Iraq, surrender noted.

LMAO!!! oh my, an angry tea partier seems to have wandered in here. The reasons for Iraq were faulty, get over it.

Difference between faulty and intentional misrepresentation. You do understand the difference right? I know the shit was faulty, but it was not some conspiracy shit. See below as well, learn how to fking read.

@-Renegade Seriously man....because they made movies about it? Yes it was BAD intel, we know dude. You people need to educate yourselves before getting into debates because you reading skills blow. There is a difference between false pretenses and conclusions that turned out to prove reasoning false. False pretenses (what Kerry is accusing Russia of) is INTENTIONAL MISREPRESENTATION. Once again, I challenge you to show where the proof is the U.S. did this. No Iraq did not have a nuke program, we were wrong, I get it. Now show me where we MADE IT UP as an excuse to go to war. If you cannot do that stfu.

Like I said.........so many tools.

How convenient for you and your buddies as an excuse to not take my challenge and answer my questions. All people like you are are a bunch of lemmings who grasp onto one "truth" and deny all evidence and reasoning that contradicts it. All you can do is toss soundbites you steal from your anti-American and leftist blogs, no original thinking whatsoever. But yea, keep rolling with I am just pissed off imperialist American guy, working well for you. Because the more of you that post it the more true it becomes right? It is what you do.

@vfibsux: shouldn't a person who loves America be the first to criticize when it's leaders are doing wrong?

Forget that, he should be treated like an endangered species. How often does one encounter such a specimen in his lifetime? The chances are slim and we're priviliged enough for having witnessed firsthand such a rare case of dementia, reality-detachment, self-fulfilling prophecies and messianic delusions.

It seems like the US and UK should probably step in if Russia invades Ukraine, simply because they agreed to as part of the non-proliferation treaty that the Ukraine signed about 20 years ago to get rid of their nuclear weapons.

@GazaAli: yeah, you're right. Also, I have to admit that I find his attention seeking rather entertaining; "No, Loudmouth Lisa! Stupid Lisa Garbage Face! [no one listens] I can't stand this any longer. Somebody please pay attention to me! Hello, pay attention to me! Look at me! I'm Bart, I'm Bart! Look at me, look at me, look at me!"

I find his attention seeking a little sad. Jeez, he can't be serious.

@TheWalkingGhost: @thebest31406: Yea it appears the more lightly (rightfully mind you) you take him and the less attention you pay to him and his nonsense, the more his inane and moronic enragement gets. I mean that post of his was too much, even for him.
