I have an affinity for hot rods and muscle cars, not the tuner garbage that people think is so hot today. Double Trouble Hot Rod is one awesome hot rod.

What could possibly make this 1927 T-Bucket any better?

What is so stupid about a T-Bucket. They epitomize what a hot rod is, especially this one.

No tuner could ever aspire to this or even have half of it's power.

"Engines: All aluminum Ford 4.6L modular V8s, DOHC, 32 valves, Custom made supercharger manifolds with B&M Teflon superchargers and Holley blower 4150 double pumper carburetors, with shotgun air cleaners. Approx 1000HP" Uhhh, half of its horsepower is only 500. I'm assuming the1000hp is the 2 combined, seeing how 500hp is about how much a supercharged 4.6L Mustang would make. Which would be made by a tuner.... Also: 1000hp BMW M5... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9AOR8gjB76Q And a 1000hp M5 would be much more practical, and it looks much funner to drive. Also, not really diggin the look of 2 motors...

The new blowers add more HP to the Double Trouble, hence me asking what could make the original even better. I don't know about a hot rod using non-American parts. There is something about American iron that just screams hot rod, then again, I am an old car guy who grew up through the muscle care era and miss cars like the Super Bee, GTO, Road Runner, Charger  Daytona, Camaro and the Mustang to name a few.

how does the transmission work on that thing w/ 2 engines driving it? and i agree.. it looks stupid but i definitely appreciate it from the "we build it because we could" standpoint. it's always fun to see that kinda stuff.

I would suppose there are gears of some sort attached to the crank that engage a flywheel on the tranny, kind of similar to how jet engines are used in helicopters. With the current set up with the 2 engines and 4 blowers, it idles at 35MPH on it's own.
