[QUOTE="Favreinpurple"]What did Tiger get away with :? -no crimeThats a good question. Should he of gone to prison for doing something that married men do all the time? Plus i really doubt Kobe, a super rich NBA star, has the need to be raping girls. Girl was just trying to scam him for his money. OJ was so guilty though. They all got away with it.

Tiger didn't break the law, and Kobe was set up. Let's be honest here, he doesn't need to rape to get women.
OJ just had the right lawyer. So 1/3, yes you're right, money buys freedom.
He wrecked his car after his wife went berserk and chased him out of the house trying to smash his head in with a golf club. Then he lost countless millions from companies dropping him from their ad campaigns. Tiger didn't get away with it.
[QUOTE="Favreinpurple"]i saw another 'trend' with those 3 people...My point is if you have money you can get away with anything and its pathetic
Omzzz
They are all athletes?
To act like these guys are "heroes" is absolutly pathetic. Seeing kobe shake the presidents hand makes me wanna puke all over the floor of my lamborghini. Its sad rich people can get away with cheating and killing and raping. Look at what Donte stallworth got a month in prison. If thats an average joe he serves life in prison. Not to mention the Jayson Williams guy the basketball player just was sentenced to 18 months thats pathetic.

I'm not sure what's so hard to understand about "innocent until proven guilty"... you may have your opinions about Kobe, but he was not convicted in a court of law of rape, so until he is I would recommend not treating him as if he were...
Seeing kobe shake the presidents hand makes me wanna puke
Favreinpurple
Why? Wasn't conviected, was he?
He didnt get away with anything. He got found out and publicly humiliated. Having an affair doesnt deserve going to prison for.My point is if you have money you can get away with anything and its pathetic

lol ok..
and also now im definitely convinced you're after black people
He cheated on his wife we know that for a fact. That makes him a piece of crap and seems how you make it like I'm targeting just blacks well Ben Roethlisberger was just accused of Rape and Warren Sapp domestic violence and Michael Irvin rape. Thats just sad these people can get away with commiting such crimes. The penalty for rape should be the death penalty.

You need to get your facts straight...
Donte S. was manslaughter, not murder
-a guy was jaywalking on a busy highway...that could have happened to any sober person
Jayson Williams is eligible for parole in 18 months...that is not his sentence
The only thing worse than rape is murder. Think about what you're doing to someone when you rape them. You're physically hurting them crippling them for the rest of their lives and is just the saddest crime to think of.

The stallworth i am not as upset about. The fact i am making is he had money to pay off the family and was given an easy sentence because of it. If I went out tonight and did the same thing I would be serving life in prison. Jayson williams will be off in 18 months. Any idiot could behave to get outta prison.
All these things are almost as bad as a famous athlete abusing pain killers to maintain a starting streak...such a terrible example for the childrenThe only thing worse than rape is murder. You would not get jailed for life for manslaughter...
-many 'normal' people serve little time for that
Parole is not as easy as you make it out to be
IF you have money you can get a good lawyer and get aways with things normals don't get the chance to.
I guess it depends on your world view. People are innocent until PROVEN guilty. In capital crimes it is proof beyond a reasonable doubt. Your entire posting style in this thread assumes that they are guilty. You've already made up your mind.My point is if you have money you can get away with anything and its pathetic

I haven't made up my mind. I know already that Kobe and Tiger cheated on their wives. Tiger was much worse than Kobe, but in each case they are slimes. They aren't heros and its sad Nike and all his sponsors stuck with him. Its just sad.
Now, we will never know if Kobe really did rape that women who was a pretty weird chick anyways, but he did sleep with her. Now, he has earned some respect by being a guy who hasn't cheated since than, but the fact he is even considered a role model or hero is sad.

Are they heroes of fidelity and keeping marital vows? No. Is that any of my business? No. Why should I care who Tiger Woods has sex with? That's between him and his wife. Athletes shouldn't be role models. I'll grant that. But at the same time, that doesn't mean we can't celebrate greatness when we watch it and it is in front of our eyes just because they sleep around. I'm perfectly capable of separating out watching Tiger hit a golf ball to thinking about his having sex. His having sex is completely irrelevant to him playing golf.Yes, I know that. But you didn't answer my point. Why in the world should I care that he's unfaithful? Why should ANYONE care about that other than his wife? It's nobody's business. He's a golfer...not a priest. If he was a single guy he did nothing wrong but he was married bad guy

People like to judge others and like to see them getting punished.
Nobody respects him because he's a family man, they respect him because he's one of the best athletes on the face of the planet. Now, we will never know if Kobe really did rape that women who was a pretty weird chick anyways, but he did sleep with her. Tiger isn't getting away with anything. His sponsors have dropped him, his marriage is possibly over, and his golf career is on hold and possibly over.
aransom
There is zero chance his career is over. The only tournaments he's skipping are those he rarely plays, anyways. He'll be back in time for the Masters.
Note to self: If I ever become a lawyer, NEVER EVER let Favreinpurple serve in the jury in one of my cases.

You're probably right, but you never know how long he'll have to stay in sex-addiction therapy. The more illicit sex you've had, the longer it probably takes to get back to monogamy.[QUOTE="Oleg_Huzwog"][QUOTE="aransom"]
