Yeah it was good... but I'm a fan of his older stuff. vietnam war movies... well war movies in general have always been among my favorites which is probably why I like it so much.

Flags of Our Fathers was AMAZING! That movie sucked, Letters was better, if not slightly.

I might have exaggerated, but it was a disappointment.
Full Metal Jacket or A Clockwork Orange. 2001: A Space Odyssey I have to rewatch, Dr. Strangelove feels like a different kind of movie (to me anyways), and I haven't seen The Shining all the way through.
I love Dr. Strangelove: Or how I learned to stop worrying and love the bomb; but more for Peter Sellers than Kubrick I think. One of the top five best actors ever, in my opinion. Have you seen 'The Party'? It was one of Sellers' less popular movies, but one of his best. I do like 2001, and Lolita though. Clockwork Orange, not so much.
