well its a 3.30 pm french time, I am not good at them. I am all ready when i enter the room and then i forget everything. I have such a hard time starting. I think I beep, my english oral, that way. I am the best in the class in english. I just frooze and went blank, even though it was so easy. I forgot to give an intro like there are 4 paragraphs, the author is; and where the text comes from. that cost me some points. Well I seem to be ready for it and then freeze. I trained the speech but the big day i block.  Whats weird is just with one person. Its just like talking one on one with someone which i do pretty well but its just the school thing that stresses me out, So anyone have advice so i can relax and be calm, or anyone like me. I forgot, to tell what oral it is, its a marketting oral.
Speeches are a tough one. I took a class to learn how to overcome problems like your's. It's too late to advise you now but I would suggest you take a class in speech making, it really worked for me.
When i had to do my spanish/german orals i'd just practice with a buddy, and when i got it right i'd say "there, you're fine" and i'd feel much more confident. That only works if you get it right though. If you practice and make huge mistakes i dont think it'd help. :P

I think s/he's french... doing english. owww i thought she was english doing french T.T ma bad I think standards are a lot higher in france, in concern to learning languages. I remember when we did an exchange in high school and all the french kids could speak fluent english, but we couldn't ask for directions. :P

Visualize yourself giving a great oral exam in great detail...before you give the speech.
