So, is it true that keeping your laptop on your lap all the time can make you sterile?
Do many of you do so?
And what are your thoughts on this :|

If enough heat is exposed to your "area", then yes it's possible. Heat kills sperm. One thing I don't get is why do people worry about being sterile if all they want to do is have sex? Not trying to make children here. As long as the sexual desire is there, and you're still producing the same amount of prostatic fluid (it makes up the vast majority of the ejaculate), why does it really matter?

I hate laptops. I'd much rather have a desk and a desktop. And it'll only make you sterile if it's a Sony and the battery explodes.~-~I prefer to be comfortable so I disagree.:| But yea I like laptops, I'm using one now. I usually don't have it on my lap though, and if I do it's at an 80o angle since I'm leaning back so far, it's not like right on my crotch. PS: I want kids so it is something I look out for.~-~

So you think laptops are more comfortable than desktops? Weird....Anyhow, watch out for those exploding batteries. It's when you least expect it....

EXACTLY my point :D. Though I don't know if you'd be any better off if the tower to your PC blew up either.

~-~I have to use a desktop at school and I don't see how that can be preferable to a laptop. I mean I'm friken kicking back on my bed. Oh look... I moved my head down a little and now I'm like ready for a nap. (But it's a ***** to type like this so I'm going back to my other position.) And my laptop is also on my bed so if my battery exploded it would just own my bed. Actually, this thing is so old my guess is the battery is too weak to cause any damage. But whatever, to each his own. Good luck with all that posture and back pain stuff.~-~~-~Why? Do you keep it between your legs or something?:? And do you really think that so many electronics just go sploading all the time?~-~EXACTLY my point :D. Though I don't know if you'd be any better off if the tower to your PC blew up either.

I couldn't imagine trying to Photoshop lying down. Your bed would be more than owned. It'd be screwed. You only get back pain if your posture is bad which can be solved with a good chair. I can be more attentive in a chair. But anywho, yes, to each his own. Good luck with that battery.

Good luck with that battery.stkr~-~Sorry, I'm too busy looking out for UFOs that might crash into my house and trying to win the lottery.~-~
