Laptop on lap.

So, is it true that keeping your laptop on your lap all the time can make you sterile?

Do many of you do so?

And what are your thoughts on this :|

I'm pretty sure they get kinda warm on the bottom, I just felt mine, and yeah its kinda toasty.

If enough heat is exposed to your "area", then yes it's possible. Heat kills sperm. One thing I don't get is why do people worry about being sterile if all they want to do is have sex? Not trying to make children here. As long as the sexual desire is there, and you're still producing the same amount of prostatic fluid (it makes up the vast majority of the ejaculate), why does it really matter?

I hate laptops. I'd much rather have a desk and a desktop. And it'll only make you sterile if it's a Sony and the battery explodes.

:lol:. I just like leaning back in a comfortable chair while I type and read. I couldn't imagine trying to Photoshop lying down. Your bed would be more than owned. It'd be screwed. You only get back pain if your posture is bad which can be solved with a good chair. I can be more attentive in a chair. But anywho, yes, to each his own. Good luck with that battery.
