They shot some particles around the ring to see if it worked, and it did. They didn't collide any though, they are waiting a month or so before actual collisions.
I was watching the live internet feed for a while, Saw them get the first beam round, but had to go to bed before the second one.. They had some cooling trouble or something didnt they? Can anyone fill me in on that one? Something about they couldnt get a magnet down to the 1.9K, wonder if they fixed it in time

yea they tuned it on and we got sucked into a black hole without out anyone realizing it. Scientist are saying that we didnt so people wont go crazy. Where floating in some universe thats a complete imitation of our old universe.
there's nothing to watch so no video, people were really overreacting as there was no chance of a blackhole appering as all they did is send one beam round one way
