Last song you learned on guitar?

And was it difficult or easy? Post tabs if you got em!
My last ine was Joeseph Merrick by Mastodon. It was tricky for sure, but now its a breeze.

I guess you have to play guitar to qualify, so all you non guitarees (thats what we call you) dont get to participate.

I just played along to "Providence" by "Godspeed You Black Emperor". Wasn't difficult, just took ten mins to get it right by ear, was just fun to play along, it's catchy =)Crazy_Squid

I got back into Eriatarka by The Mars Volta this weekend. I learned it in the past but I never perfected it. Now the skin is falling off my fingers from trying to perfect it...

I didn't use a tab to learn it but looking at that tab I can tell you it's almost exactly how I play it.

Snap, thats pretty sweet. I love TMV but i never learn thier stuff because it just sounds wrong on accoustic

Just the riffs that go through the song really =) They are very catchy, have you heard Providence before?
I'm trying out the tremelo picking part now, just as the violins come in... I love godspeed!
Do you play many other songs by Mastadon? I haven't heard that many, I just know they were supporting Tool awhile back, I like "Colony of Birchmen" =)

Yup, Godspeed is awesome! Ive never tried to learn thier stuff before though. My friend taught me another song by Mastodon, but i dont know the name of it, its from one of thier earlier cds. I know a bunch of Tool songs though... Pu$hit, prison ***, lateralus, sober... they have a bunch of good'uns to play

Cadillac by Stone Gossard. It isn't to hard of a song but fun to play
