Last time you were sick?

Recovering from a nasty cold and slight temp ( was sick for last two days) as i'm typing this.

I haven't been sick since last winter when I had the flu virus.

Just got rid of a major cold...first time I got one in like 10 years too...

You're very lucky then because I get one every year.

Well i had a sleeping disorder through all my life and it makes you feel like shit usually. But i guess that doesnt count. I cant remember the last time i got sick, aegean has a nice weather almost always.

Few weeks ago after a bottle of Maker's Mark.

Not because I drank whole thing, but because sour mash (another bottle for the collection though).

don't remember. I rarely get sick.

I have migraine once every 2 months or so, but fortunately it usually only lasts 1 day. I have a runny nose a couple of times a year, but that lasts only a day or two. It has been years and years since I last had the flu or fever or something like that.

I haven't been really sick as in throwing up or otherwise being bedridden in years probably. But crap like colds and whatnot happen every so often.

Last time i was really sick was about 12 years ago but that was only due to a allergic reaction to some bad food.

Other than that i don't get sick (knock on wood)

I think I may have cancer or just some infection I can't see. My lymph nodes around my neck are swollen and one on my left hasn't shrunk yet. I remember this happening to me in High School and I never got seen for it, a few months later it went away and I forgot about it.

Last year with the stomach flu just 2 weeks after my flu vaccination.

All I can do now is stay healthy while I wait.

Yeah, you probably should go see a doctor, if nothing else for peace of mind, but don't panic...there's plenty of reasons to get swollen lymph nodes, and most of them aren't serious. I give people lymph drainage massages all the time and mostly it's just small infections or viruses. It just means your nodes are collecting more crap than they can get rid of =)

Pretty sure I got the H1N1 last year from some pos Jack in the Box worker. Took me out for like a week.

I always get sick when the seasons change. I expect I'll either be sick by the end of September or early October.

Well, I'm an insomniac and I have allergies, but in terms of "catching" something, that hasn't happened in years.

Right now, It doesn't help that I get post infectious asthma episodes too.

Has been years, but used to be at least once a year get a cold or something.

I haven't been sick since the fifth grade.

I usually get one or two colds a year, but I don't recall whether I've had one this year or not. It's been years since I've had something more miserable like the flu or norovirus ("24 hour flu"). That shit is miserable.

last summer i was out for a week w/ flu symptoms. sucked.

Yeah, I'm hoping it's just an infection. It's starting to swell up in other parts of my neck, it sort of hurts. Woke up with a major migraine because of it. Never knew you there was a method of massaging to drain lymph nodes :P

@Gaming-Planet: Yep, I do it all the time. Most clients that come to me for it have a swollen face and neck and it's normally a cold or virus; some come to me with what they call "water retention" so I have to drain their legs. The most serious cases are normally women who have had a mastectomy so the lymph nodes in their armpits got removed and their arms swell like crazy.

Right now, got a case of Otitis media. Hurt like a mother untill the eardrum burst. Irony? 3 weeks ago I had it on the other ear :x one of the few cases where I strongly suggest painkillers.

IT also sucks when that goo slowly glides out of your ear. Fawk that itches -.- So just to be sure I've swapped out all the headsets in the house. Even though it is not likely the cause (given that it is the kind that generates pus on the inside of teh ear).

no no need nothing in return, you reminded me of two very good freinds (couple) from past who were physiotherapists as well.Lost touch with them now as they moved to different city after marriage :)

Last time i was sick? 2010. Since then i have being taking as lots of Cs and As in My Food.

@indzman: That sucks...do you mean you don't talk to them as much as you used to or you completely lost them?

I don't keep in touch anymore, but all smiles when they come over here on holiday. One of the family members said something very harsh in past , never told the freinds how i got insulted but i try to avoid as much as possible now, citing being very busy. Last noticed one of them finding me and tracking me in FB :)

@indzman: Yeah, some people say stupid stuff but that's no reason to avoid other people related to them. If people avoided me based on what my parents say and do, nobody would come anywhere near me =P

I understand but family member very close to them. I feel much glad i stayed away from that particular person. But in good relation with my freinds always, whenever we freinds meet on street or on social gatherings when they come down over here we've a good time and recall past good times.I just avoid going to their home or try being very close now on even social sites as F/B. I got my own dignity :)

I got fungal infection between my toes ... and recovering after using anti-fungal cream ... is that considered sick? lol

I've been chronically ill since the age on 20. Now 37. I have forgotten what it feels like to be healthy.

I better've flu =P
