But yeah, is a shame. Soon we'll be saying byes to the last World War 2 veteran. Then the generation of eldery would have no stories to tell other then the ones they hallucinated while smoking pot on a VW camper van.
That sucks, although I find this odd...
'She had no memory of the disaster, but at age 8 her mother told her what happened.'
So for like 8 years her mum didn't speak of her dead father or how he diedand one morning she just springs it on her. I wonder what her cover story was for her fathers abscence...
[QUOTE="remmbermytitans"]Wait, so you're glad she died? No he was saying now that the last survivor had died everyone as a whole who has died can move on. Sorta like titanic the movie when jack waited for rose to die so to speak lol.Link. What are you thoughts? I for one, finally think this ship and its members can finally rest in peace.

He said "finally", as if this is something he's been waiting for.

Will people talk about the Tsunami in Asia 100 years from now? Or does it not count because only poor people died?clembo1990I don't think amercian people will be talking about that probably asian people who lived over there who has the internet will probably post a post like that many many years in the future lol.

Yeah I chuckled too, as horrible as it was. Will people talk about the Tsunami in Asia 100 years from now? Or does it not count because only poor people died?clembo1990Well, we didn't count the "survivors" of the Tsunami, so it'd be pretty hard to talk about. I for one will be sad in the 2030s that pretty much all WW2 survivors are dead - it's the "end of a generation" part that feels sad to me.
Feels like an end of a generation :( Bye 1900s and 1910s people :cry:FamikingI hate that feeling. Same thing happened when one of the last WW1 vets died.
EDIT: Funny, I just red your post about the WW2 vets :P

Wait, so you're glad she died? That's a sort of instigative-like assumption, don't you think?[QUOTE="clembo1990"]Will people talk about the Tsunami in Asia 100 years from now? I for one will be sad in the 2030s that pretty much all WW2 survivors are dead - it's the "end of a generation" part that feels sad to me. Doug Stanhope has a very funny joke about that. The self righteous baby boomers with their false sense of accomplishment and entitlement, spoilt rotten and make our lives a misery today with their old **** values. Generations have to end, what's sad is if they never got to live and I think the people of the latter 20th century had pleanty of opportunity to do just that. Blow, anyone? Everyone's been talking about it!
This is sad. However, I have to say, now would be the perfect time to remake Titanic. Or better yet, do a horror movie with them all coming back from the dead and attacking a nearby cruise liner!Head_of_games
If they want to remake the movie they should focus on something other than a love story. I think that aspect was done well in the 1999 flick and we don't need to redo it.
