I like the more gritty crimes that SVU brings. The original has Sam Waterston, who is awesome. Criminal Intent is pretty good aswell, mostly because I like Vincent D'nofrio. I can't really decide, actually.
I agree, last nights episode was pretty awesome. And going with what Mike said below you, Noth is an old-school L&O actor and I love seeing him back in the L&O universe on CI, even though I am not really a fan of that spin-off.
Yeah, SVU is the best IMO, the characters are the most compelling (all 3 have very good acting for pretty much all there characters).
Plus, with SVU, alot of the times, you dont really know if the guy they're going after did it or not... so sometimes your like "He didnt do it.. no way" and he ends up being the dirty pedophile or the other way around. ...
that one episode where they went after the teacher that was having the affair with his student for suposably raping her and then it ended right before the jury made there verdict.... that pissed me off.. but.. it was good.

Yea, I remember that episode you are talking about on SVU. Elliot and Stabler took each of their sides and we got both of their POV's and then it ended with the jury. I think the viewer got to go on the website and vote whether or not he was guilty or not. I heard a **** of women went on their website and voted guilty and in a later episode they wrote a storyline were he was found guilty of raping her.
I don't like the main characters on SVU. Had those 2 been real cops, most of their cases would be thrown out. This is due to 4th amendment right issues.
But I like the show due to it's unsung heroes, and this would be Ice T and Richard Belzer, whom they showcase every once in a while.
