Resident Evil movies. I hate when people dis this for not being exactly like the game, but you know what? You want something exactly like the game, I have great news. Resident Evil is a game.... you can play!
Here's the funny thing...people complain all the time about movies not being true to the source material, but Mortal Kombat was COMPLETELY free of gore. I don't think I saw a single drop of blood in the whole ****ing movie, yet MANY people consider Mortal Kombat to be the best game-to-movie adaptation ever made.
I liked both Resident Evils. I liked the action of the second because I'm more an action person than horror. Silent Hill was freaky in a good way, but it probably would have been better if I had played the games.
And the Tomb Raiders were pretty good, though I think the first one was better than the second.
I thought Silent Hill was great, one of the best horror movies I have seen in a while. But for some reason people dont like it even though it had the games atmosphere and creepyness. I guess some people just dont understand the movie, mainly stupid critics

also peopel really have no real reason to hate final fantasy the spirits within. Sure it wasnt like the games, but all the games are different so thats not a valid arguement. The animation was great and the story was interesting, why all the hate:?

Either of the two Tomb Raiders. I have no respect or attachment towards the franchise so i expected nothing from the films and they were decent enough.

i got a copy, just watched it again this weekend actually. I have never heard one good reason for hating the movie, its sad it didnt do so well. I really thought it was good. Ashides from the its not like the games excuse, which is not really valid, peopel have never given me a good reason for thinking it sucks.
They both sucked, but neither one was half as bad as I was expecting.

How does that make any sense? Were you expecting to see a movie filled with grandmas knitting sweaters for the whipper-snappers?
No, I was expecting to see movies devoid of any entertainment value, and instead ended up seeing marginally entertaining movies that were very poorly made.
I really rather enjoyed the first Resident Evil movie, it's a shame that the second didn't live up to the expectations and the third is bombing big time.
