Rock and Roll, Black Dog, Going to California, Misty Mountain Hop,Whole Lotta Love, Immigrant Song, Stairway to Heaven....though I recommend the albums...not just songs.

My personal favorites: All of My Love Gallows Pole Achilles Last Stand Ramble On Over The Hills and Far Away Battle of Evermore Stairway to Heaven Black Mountain Side Walter's Walk In The Evening Fool In The Rain Brown-Y-Aur Stomp Rain Song No Quarter Communication Breakdown (This is, in my opinion, the best song of theirs)

It's on Presence and it's a mediocre album, although that is one of their best songs.
Anyway their first 6 albums (I - IV, Houses of the Holy and Physical Graffiti) are all deemed to be essential. III is my favourite but IV is regarded as their masterpiece.
Can't say I listen to them much anymore. When I found out that they stole a lot of material from other artists and passed it of as their own... well that kind of ruined it for me.
My favorites are probably In My Time of Dying, Kashmir, Black Dog, Ten Years Gone, Rain Song, Ramble On, When the Levee Breaks, Whole Lotta Love, Going to California, Over the Hills and Far Away, The Ocean, Travelling Riverside Blues.

I think you should listen to the albums because they are great. Led Zeppelin I, II, III, IV and Physical Graffiti are my favorites.
