Today at a summit of the EU there will be a vote on wheather to give ISPs the right to block content as they please. This without a doubt attempt to stop piracy will have horrible consequences. Already some ISPs in Europe block Skype a free voice communicator becouse it gives something that phone companies make you pay for, for free. There is no way that these new rights will not be exploited. I am afraid that one day this will evolve into a situation where internet providers are used in Political battles. This is Europe damnit not China! How is it that this idea even came up in a union of democratic nations? Democracy as I understand is for the people and by the people. The voice of the politicians should be the voice of majority and as far as I know the majority does not consiste of movie studios or music producers. I am not here to defend piracy, becouse neither me or anyone I know thinks that piracy is ok. People do it...so what. Every invention in history has its drawbacks. Just becouse corporations loose money should not be a reason to limit the peoples freedom.

Anarchy fails becouse there can never be anarchy. There will always be followers who will see someone that they think is better than them. And bam anarchy is no more.

All forms of governing people fail fundamentally due to the basic fact that no body can be trusted to control any part of anyone else's life, and sometimes not even their own. This includes Anarchy, Democracy and any other form you can think of. Humanity cannot be trusted to control itself, and is too complex to create a rigid algorithm to base a set of morals or ethics. Also, I didn't read any of the OP's post.

If you want to get technical, Karl Marx's writings are actually based on anarchy, where eventually ALL people will own and have equal stake in the government and the means of production.

That's kind of what he was getting at with communism. We would all have a 'common' or 'commun' control of the government and economy, essentially 'equal.'

And since in anarchy, there is no leader, all people have the equal amount of no leadership, it can be thought of that in communism, all people have the equal amount of leadership and control of the government.

If you want to get technical, think of communism like a bee hive, where you have workers and soldier bees who are basically all of the same rank and do their part for the hive, except that in a bee hive, you have a queen. So think of Stalin as the queen and all the other bees as everyone else.

Amazing how many people didn't bother to read the original post. Or is it? :P Anyway, TC, i wouldn't worry about it to be honest. I'm not aware of which countries have ISPs which block Skype, but that's certainly not an EU policy. In fact, it's rigidly against that sort of thing. I'm from the UK, so obviously i cant speak on behalf of all of Europe, but there are no problems at all with net neutrality here.

Communism can never be because someone who has qualifications and works as a Doctor will never accept the same amount pay a road-sweeper gets.

Well actually most countries 'claiming' to be Communist are actually in fact, back to a Monarchy. China, for example, ONE man dictates how every should live their life. That one man is equivalent to an emperor. No one dares to dispute him and no one can. That is basically a Monarchy.

I read every word of it before I posted, I just thought he was kind of overreating or drawing the wrong conclusion, so I didn't bother to relate my post to his.

Communism is anarchy now?

It could be. Marx wrote that the road to communism would ultimately lead to a stateless society.
