"Let's go on a bell" is a film industry term meaning "everyone quiet, shooting begins soon." It's also synonymous with "on a redlight."

Usually when you say that you or someone is "going on a tear" it means they are having fun or a good time.

Hi, did you guys not read what I posted? "Let's go on a bell" is a film industry term. It's like when you hear folks yelling "quiet on the set." I am not making this up and I also can't believe that nowhere on the Internet seems to document this definition. I've just finished taking a TV/Film acting course taught by a longtime SAG member who had this term as one of the required learnings so much so that he asked for it's definition on our Final Exam. I'd like to think that it wasn't that you folks are disregarding my input because I don't have four-digits worth of posts to my name.
