I would like to.

When I see an avatar of a male, I would like to believe the person is a male. And when I see an avatar with a female, I would like to believe the person is a female. But that's not always the case. Sometimes there are people who just seem to have a fetish for anime chicks, or blonde hair - and it's their duty to let the world know with an avatar without specifying that is their gender or not.
