Moderate Libertarian. I'd rather have a liberal libertarian or a conservative libertarian than an authoritarian though. :P
I'm right on economic issues (I believe the government should have no control over the economy except for a few regulations here and there), and I'm left on social issues (besides being pro-life, except for in cases of rape, I 'm all left: legalize gay marriage, let people smoke weed, I don't care what people do as long as it doesn't hurt someone else). I think I'm a Libertarian, although I'm not exactly sure on what that means, I take it as being left on social issues and right on fiscal issues.
That's me exactly. Only thing I do not support is abortionI'm right on economic issues (I believe the government should have no control over the economy except for a few regulations here and there), and I'm left on social issues (besides being pro-life, except for in cases of rape, I 'm all left: legalize gay marriage, let people smoke weed, I don't care what people do as long as it doesn't hurt someone else). I'm extremely conservative in almost every issue. And it's not just because i was brought up that way. It's because when it comes to real life that's the way it goes.
[QUOTE="chessmaster1989"]Social liberal, economic moderate.imaps3fanboy
Can I get in on this group hug of people rational enough to see the good of both political parties? Personally i think people who vote democrat just because of social issues are kind of ignorant (flame me now!!) because while they are voting for their freedoms on the issues they know, they are also voting for a party that wants big government. It's very ironic, hippies voting for the party that wants "THE MAN" to control everything, just because they promise them a cleaner environment and gay marriage. On the flipside, people that vote for the republican party claim to be good Christian people, and then completely ignore the fact that they're voting for the party that is very close minded socially, and descriminates against many, instead of being open and loving like Jesus himself was.
I'm going to be old enough to vote during the next election, and I'm torn apart. I think both parties have their fair shares of evils, but deep inside, I know it's useless to vote for another party. For instance, the more people that vote for the Tea Party, the less will vote republican, which will guarantee a democratic win. I really wish our political system was not monopolized by two parties.

Just follow the news and who you want to vote for will become apparent. Take a look at recent things like the healthcare reform, the budget debates, the Wiscononsin/Ohio/Indiana fiasco, the tax cut extension debate, etc. If you follow it closely enough you'll see the ins and outs of each party and what each fights for.Somewhat libertarian. I generally lean to the right on economic issues and on the left on social ones.
I was a liberal, then a conservative, then a liberal, then a libertarian, after that I became an anarchist (not the phony quasi-socialist type), now I'm a voluntarist because anarchist has too many negative connotations :P
I don't care anymore though. I am a man, a man that wants to live in peace... There is no peace in worrying about government, it's like fighting a never-ending war.
Libertarian.-Sun_Tzu-i find that hard to believe as you argue for the state at every turn, not a liberating stance. with that said i argue most things from the libertarian perspective
They both have strengths but they both have major faults. Going to have to go all South Park and say neither.
A bit of a mix, but more conservative. On the conservative side, I'm pro-gun, pro-lifeand believe it's not the government's place to nanny people with programs like welfare and affirmative action. On the liberal side, I have no problem with legalizing pot (no worse than alcohol) and I would do away with the Bush tax cuts for wealthy people. I'm a bit mixed when it comes to the homosexuality issue. On one hand, it's none of my concern what two consenting adults do behind closed doors. On the other, I just cannot accept the notion of them getting married and saying it's equal to the natural family unit.
