That is what I am saying. If Elijah voted for Obama (and there is no way to know if he did) then it is because he is naive about politics and so he was sympathetic to Obama's campaign platform. That is a big if, though. Anyways I am pleased to see libertarianism dominating in the poll. This is proving what I said earlier about how there was going to be a huge demographic shift here in favour of libertarians. I was not expecting it to happen so soon, but I am still very pleased.

Say what? Some regulation is absolutely necessary in modern society. The trick is to have sound regulation designed to create or deter specific outcomes with sufficient flexibility to address unforeseen one off circumstance. In some cases we have this. In other cases we have excessive bureaucracy and regulation without clarity of purpose and outcomes. Or worse still, a system of regulation on top of regulation as a result of jurisdictional overlap and/or trying to paper over every gap or hole in the original intent with extra layers of BS. Regardless, it would be extremely naive to believe that all regulation is automatically bad.
