this is good to see prisoners doing stuff instead of venting their anger when they get out

i was thought this was a stupid, stupid idea. lets take people who are locked up for being violent and allow them the time to develop more strength and muscle... lets then put them back on the street and see what happens.Steelers_86
I've never even considered that, but you're absoltuely right...let them grow and stabilize mentally instead...
They all look so cheerful and concentrated on these weight lifting events, I'd hate to take that away from them.OneShot112yeah...i would rather have them lifting weights then sharping shanks in my opinion.....

Quite a skewed perspective you got there. by the time they get out, they'll be happy with their lives instead of being anxious to leave and do something stupid that'll get them in more trouble.
Why do they offer sports programs from poor kids in the ghetto? so to take kids away from the gangs and drugs. muscles doesnt have to with anything. so youre saying that people with no muscles, dont commit crimes?

Most people that go to prison, end up going back. Mainly gang members, there are a super small percentage that once they get out, quit the gang life.

I thought it was a good idea as it gives them something to think about and look forward too. To gain a little ore control in their life.
