What is your preferred hue of alcoholic beverage? I tend to prefer a darker beer myself, though I definitely enjoy a light beer from time to time.

Dark beer, strong aroma, strong flavour, the kind that weighs heavy on the tongue, spelling FULL BODY!!!
mostly Ales....to me Ales go down so much quicker! i always enjoy the first 2 just for flavour...everyone after that...well...im trying to get buzzed and drunk!
Dark beer is good. Light beer is also good, but it tastes like water if you drink it after drinking dark beer.

dammit, you little troll you, you got me with your sig. I really thought there was a bud on my screen.:PRed beer. I find it really hard to find a dark and pale beer that I can like on any occasion. Rickard's Red is probably me favourite.

im sorry lol...
oh on Liquor...Captain Morgan's Private stock Rum is my Liquor choice.
Dark is the only thing that should be considered beer.cd_romI don't know, I quite like Heinekein and Becks as beers (along with a lot of others). Maybe they're not light, but they're sure as hell more light than dark. Keep in mind light beer doesn't have to apply to the image of a potbellied redneck drinking Natty Light that many get when they hear the term. There are loads of good lagers and ales out there.
Hmmm, maybe I'm too quick to categorize. I LOVE red beer (drinking a Leinenlieugel's at the moment), but I've always lumped it into the dark beer category. Shows how much I know when it comes to beer I suppose .Red beer. I find it really hard to find a dark and pale beer that I can like on any occasion. Rickard's Red is probably me favourite.

As long as it isn't Natural Light, I'm probably okay with it.

Keep in mind light beer doesn't have to apply to the image of a potbellied redneck drinking Natty Ice that many get when they hear the term. There are loads of good lagers and ales out there. European light beers are o.k., I'll drink them if there's no choice. Most light beers that I can think of are the mainstream American ones like Budweiser, Miller, Coor's. Those are just way too weak for my tastes.[QUOTE="cd_rom"]Dark is the only thing that should be considered beer.jamejame
I voted dark only because most of the beers I like are dark. But I love lighter beers equally (such as hefes and pale ales).

Indeed....indeed. Natty is so cheap, so its sadly used for drinking games. Are we talking about specific "light" beers or the paleness of the beer? I like Rolling Rock if that's what we're going on. I don't much care for dark beers. They taste too much like coffee to me. Thick, milky, and disgusting.
TBH I prefer wheat beers like Shock Top or Boulevard over most other beers. And then there's Pabst for the vintage awesomeness.
I suppose sweet beers would be Heinekein and Becks like then? Yeah, I enjoy the occasional one definitely, but I agree, they don't hold a candle to a darker beer.jamejame
There's a local microbrewery that makes a dark lager... It's amazing. There's another one that serves amber ale which is really good as well.
