Like Advanced life or the old life?

I personaly wish that we still were in the old ages like stone age or middle ages i dont like this on going life because so much troubles in this life.Does people like this life or the old?

How old are you? Do you realize how foolish you sound?

Do you realize how much work it is just to grown your own food? Not just a nice little garden that you have that provides you a few supplemental meals isn't going to cut it. You need to grow food for all year round (which is impossible in some parts of the world). The middle ages or stone ages or any age prior to the industrial revolution were no cake walk compared to now. Even a few generations back didn't have life as easy as we have it now.

How about you voluntarily go out in the woods for a week and then tell me how the troubles of your life compare with the troubles of not having this life.

old life, these days there so much pressure and things move far to quickly.

Maybe not that far back, im willing to go pre WW2.

I like all of the technology we have now... I just wish people weren't so dependant on things like Gamespot and Facebook and spent their time doing other things instead. I've kind of fallen into that trap. I spend way too much time on GS or youtube.

I think I'm gonna limit my computer time to when I'm eating lunch and waiting for my next class, and that's it.

Modern age. I am keeping my body in peak physical condition with hopes that someday I will be a good candidate for cybernetic augmentation. When I am in my 70s and looking 50...etc. No other time in human history have we been given access to modern nutritional supplements, leisure time for physical exercise, and cheap nutrient rich food. By my account we should all be a society of super men by now.

I have a book on the Burgundian Code, laws for germanic people who dealt with Romans from the 5th and 6th century. These are some of the "laws" quoted;

Of the punishment of slaves who commit a criminal assault on freeborn woman

1. If any slave does violence to a native freewoman, and if she complains and is clearly able to prove this, let the slave be killed for the committed crime.

2. If indeed a native free girl unites voluntarily with a slave, we order both be killed.

Of Receiving Strangers

1. If anyone receives a stranger coming to him from any nation, let him present him to the judge for investigation so that he may confess under torture to whom he belongs

Thats just a couple of laws for one small territory. If you're parents were peasants you were a peasant, you had no rights. The concept of individual liberties wasn't invented yet. You would most likely be someones slave or servant, or a farmer if you weren't nobility. This meant you slept in a mud hut with straw roof on the floor with the pigs where it was warm. You would never leave the area you were born either unless it was attacked and if you weren't killed by the invaders you'd probably be killed by the next town over who most likely spoke differently and didn't want strangers coming in. Strangers meant someone who coule possibly bring sickness, marry one of their children (since most people married into their own families.

So would you really want to live back then ? lol...
