My friends who are huge lil wayne fans have bein telling me that he is gonna make a rock album, if he actually did what would be your reaction?illden22disgust.
I'd laugh because all Lil Wayne can do is rhyme bad to a simple beat. And you have to have musical talent to play an instrument which most rock music has something other than synth which rap music rarely has real instruments other than synth. LOLZ@ your friends. But I guess they were kidding.

Lil Wayne announced the official release date and title of his next album: Rebirth is due April 7 - and his publicist has confirmed to MTV News that it will be a rock album. Of course, Wayne has been rocking with a guitar for some time now.
The first single is called "Prom Queen" and will debut on the Internet right after a live stream of his concert in San Diego on January 27. The show will be available for stream on MySpace.com.
Wayne - who will perform at the Grammy Awards on February 8 - hinted at a change in direction for his next LP in October during the BET Hip-Hop Awards.
"I don't know if we're gonna release Tha Carter IV now," he told MTV News on his tour bus. "I think we're gonna release Tha Carter III - a new Carter III with none of the same songs, though. None of them. Not one! We don't wanna call the [next album] we got coming out Tha Carter IV. That was the dilemma we were in. We want Carter IV to be what everybody wants it to be.
"This is something brand new, so we don't want it to be some experimental thing, 'cause some people are not gonna like this. I don't want them to not like Tha Carter IV. But I do have an album coming soon, very soon, and it's gonna be called ... Tha Carter III: The Rebirth. The birth of a new beginning."
Those plans have been changed a bit. Wayne's rep told MTV News that the April 7 release has absolutely nothing to do with Tha Carter III or any of his previous hip-hop efforts.

I guess so.
The firm foundations of the universe would be shattered with one fell swoop; time would compress against space and a vortex, microscopic yet enormus beyond comprehension, unmoving yet swirling faster than light itself, would reach out to all crevices of the universe and drag the past, the present and the future together into a single glorious depiction of my majestic image. All that ever was, is and will be shall join hands and sing my immortal name. Then nothing. Then everything anew.
Thus the universe will be reborn.
If I liked it (which is unlikely) I wouldn't mind..aaronmullanSame Here. Though the chance of me liking a Lil Wayne rock album is not likely. They don't even sound right in a sentence.
That must be his mission in life: to ruin every music genre known to man. First rap, now rock? :?kingdreIf he makes a metal album, I won't be able to contain my anger...
[QUOTE="Lief_Ericson"]I would be fine and just chose not to listen to itMrLionsI guess me and you are the only ones who wouldn't get angry and or commit suicide in this thread. :P
Yeah :) everyone just needs to relax

Although anyone who's seen Lil Wayne play guitar knows he can barely even play the thing. I saw a video where he tried a solo and it was probably the worst case scenario in terms of how it went down. D:Stolen off OTB

So since he raps he thinks he can take the role of a rock singer? The way you have to write your songs and use your voice is way different from rap. I hate all this experimenting crap rappers are doing. This album is going to be embarrassing quality wise but people will still like it because they're sheep. R0cky_Racc00nI don't mind him experimenting. I just hope he takes it seriously. if he takes it seriously, I can respect him for that. Doesn't mean it'll be good, but whatever.
lil Wayne should just not make music at all gamerozI wouldn't call that crap he's released in the past "music". Listen to the "song" Mrs. Officer.
