"The one lion was gnawing on his ribs when we got there."
honestly, can anyone think of a worse way to die?

Shouldn't have been taunting the lions. I guess his pride got the best of him.

Well, there's also that rumor about drunk Africans getting eaten by swarms of ants.
I'm not saying that either would be a good way to die. But given the choice, I think I'd rather be eaten by a lion. That at least seems like it would lead to a faster death.
Did the lion get drunk?
Gaming-Planet
Well, if we assume by the man's drunkness that his blood alcohol level was of 0.20-0.29 and we also assume that the lion has never had a zip of alcohol before and drinks all the man's blood, then its possible he might have gotten drunk. He probably got beaten by the wife back home LMAO
Wow. This story strikes really close to home.
I was born in Port Elizabeth (mentioned in the story) and, as a kid, I often visited the Addo Game Reserve where this occurred.
But I never witnessed anybody being eaten alive there. Dammit. I feel cheated! :P
Wow, the guy was a total moron. Not saying he deserved to die, but he's not getting any sympathy from me.SilverChimerayea but still, its a loss of life

the mane thing to learn from this is to not taunt wild animals. Hopefully others will learn to read between the lions of this situation and not try to be a copycat.

T_T...must you guys always use these terrible puns?
Anyways, why the heck did they put down the lion(s)? That's stupid. They're carnivores, saw a chance to get a meal and went for it. It was HIS fault he was eaten! Dangit!

Because the lions are maneaters. Now they're going to be far more likely to hunt OTHER people.

I  good one. What do lions dream of, when they take a little lion snooze.
Do they dream of mauling zebras, or Halle Berry in her catwoman suit.
Don't you worry your pretty maned head we're gonna get you back to Tyson and your cozy lion bed.
And then we're gonna find our best friend Doug and then we're gonna give him a best friend hug.
Doug, Doug, Oh, Doug Douggie Douggie Doug Doug.
But if he's been murdered by crystal meth tweekers, well then we're **** outta luck.
Natural selection at work.awesomefaceIndeed. We should have more lion enclosures around town and near bars to help rid us of rowdy drunks.
I'd say the pride of lions got the best of himShouldn't have been taunting the lions. I guess his pride got the best of him.

I see what you did there :PLions>Humans True story.bobcheeseball
Says the guy posting on a videogame forum.
True story: I have yet to learn of a lion building a computer, creating the internet, or designing and building a videogame console. I've also never heard of a lion that has been able to learn English.
