List of movies that should NEVER be remade

Now that it seems hollywood is running out of ideas more and more, they seem to be resorting to reamkes and sequals.

most of the time these turn out to be crap

so my question is, what are the movies that should be left alone? the movies that should NEVER be remade, they movies that you love and dont want hollywood to get their money grubby hands on? for me

Jaws

A nightmare on Elm street

An American werewolf in London

Plan 9 from outer space (they allready are and i dont see how they can remake the unintential funnyness)

Clash of the titans

superman (though they are :cry: )

The Host (hey, america remade [REC] which is only a year old)

Star Wars the origanal trillogy (Lucas has allready raped it enough)

Citizen Kane

Taxi Driver

Alien

2001: A Space Odyssey

There are a lot more but those are the only ones that come to mind.

I didn't think Episode I was that bad, infact I enjoyed it, but yes, every movie after that was horrible.

The original Clone Wars cartoon was really, really good though.

How about movies that just shouldn't be made? Anything off of a video game because the only barely half decent movies made off of video games has been the Resident Evil movies, everything else sucked!

That's a perfect example of a film that SHOULD be remade. The best remake candidates are the films that derived most of their appeal from special effects - King Kong, Superman, One Million Years B.C. (which was itself a remake), etc.

Any Stanley Kubrick movie and The Shawshank Redemption.

Oh, also Leon. All movies that can never be topped in my view...

Good movies should not be remade. Bad ones with good source material should: The Firm, Clan of the Cave Bear, The Da Vinci Code, etc.dchan01

Are you serious? He's remaking the original last 3 movies of Star Wars???? Lucas must be running out of money, or he just wants to milk milk milk, because already they have that waste of theater space movie called Clone Wars :roll:

So how many trillogy packs will this make it now? they had the original trilogy, remastered trilogy with special effects, the DVD remastered trilogy, the complete 6 movie trilogy... the complete 6 movie trilogy with bonus footage, now with the new original 3 releases, it'll be the NEW 6 movie trilogy pack.

Star wars was not a remake,He made three different movies about what happend before the other 3 movies,They were awesome to.
